Subsidiary and alternative medicine options could help men manage untimely ejaculation, according to a new review of existing research.
The improvements were small, and the studies were of varying quality, but preliminary evidence shows that acupuncture, Chinese organic medicine, Ayurvedic herbal remedies and a Korean relevant cream may all have desirable effects, researchers determine in the journal Sex Medicine, online December up to 29.
"There are a range of treatments available for premature ejaculation, including prescription drugs, behavioral techniques and guidance, however, some men might not exactly want to visit the doctor, take drugs long lasting or land on a long wait list for counseling, " said business lead author Katy Cooper of the University of Sheffield in the UK.
